Training classes for the preparation of the PER course theory exam:
20 hour theory
The exam is made up of 45 multiple choice questions with 4 answer options to be completed in 1 hour 30 minutes.
The exam will be corrected using a double assessment criterion, so that to pass, a minimum of 32 questions must be answered correctly, and in certain subjects, exceeding a maximum number of errors will not be allowed.

Jet ski
Jet Ski License in Barcelona (included)
By completing any type of navigation course and obtaining the certificate, you will be able to navigate your Jet Ski without power limits.
Drive all types of boats up to 6 meters in length, including, of course, all types of jet skis.
Being able to choose the motorcycle you prefer, without limiting its maximum power.
Go up to 2 miles from the coastline.
Navigate at any time of the day (night navigation is not allowed with this license)

Nautical medical certificate: what it consists of and how to get it
The nautical medical certificate guarantees that the student does not suffer any limitations that are incompatible with the government of recreational boats, in a similar way to the psychotechnical exam that all drivers must pass before obtaining a driving license.
To achieve this, you must make an appointment at a Driver Recognition Center, where certain tests will be performed, especially related to visual ability and reflexes.

What is the price of the PER course?
The PER course has different modalities depending on whether you choose the in-person or online option. Extensions and sailing qualifications are also offered with several OFFERS.
Can you obtain the PER as a minor?
No, to obtain the title of Recreational Boat Skipper you must be of legal age. You can start studying the theoretical part or do the internship before turning 18, taking into account that once you pass the exam you have a maximum period of 24 months to apply for the title.
PER or GNP, what is better?
When choosing which of the two degrees is best for you, you need to understand what thedifferences between PER and GNP regarding length limits and maximum distance to the coast.
Is it better to do the course in person or remotely?
It depends directly on your availability and involvement with the test: the advantage of online PER course is that it allows you to adapt your studies to your pace of life, with the constant support of one of the school's teachers for any questions that may arise.
What is the syllabus of the PER course?
To pass the Recreational Boat Skipper exam you must internalize the PER official agenda, organized into the chapters Naval Terminology, Maneuvers, Safety at Sea, Navigation, Meteorology, Radio Communications, Mechanical Propulsion and Legislation.
How much time should you dedicate to the theoretical part of the PER?
Although if you prepare the exam on your own you can dedicate as much time to it as you want, with an approximate dedication of between 7 and 8 hours a week it will take you around a month to study the entire syllabus.
Can practices be done before the exam?
Yes, in fact our recommendation is to make the theoretical part compatible with the completion of the mandatory practices (and, where appropriate, the complementary ones) to obtain the title of Recreational Boat Skipper as soon as possible.
If I already have the PNB, will PER subjects be validated?
If you already have the title of Basic Navigation Pattern You have an important advantage when it comes to obtaining the PER, since half of the syllabus is validated. Check the possibility of taking a bridging course that will make it easier for you to achieve it.
Should the PER be renewed?
Yes, the PER is valid for 10 years, except in the case of sailors over 70 years of age, who will have to renew it after 5 years.
