To obtain a Yacht Captain's license, you must meet the requirements in both the theoretical and practical aspects. With our online course, you can study the theory from the comfort of your home, at your own pace, without having to travel to a school.
The theoretical part of the course can be completed online, without having to pass it before doing the practicals, which are mandatory. You have the flexibility to organize the practicals according to your availability, either before or after passing the theoretical part.
The Safety and Navigation Internships take place over a single weekend, covering 48 continuous hours of motorboat navigation. This intensive approach facilitates the acquisition of practical skills in a concentrated manner, offering a complete and tailored experience to optimize the student's training time.

How do you complete your internship to obtain the title of Yacht Captain?
How are the practical sessions for obtaining the Yacht Captain's license conducted? The practical sessions take place in the Port of Barcelona and consist of a total of 16 hours of motor navigation. These hours can be distributed over two 8-hour sessions or four 4-hour sessions, depending on your needs. We also offer the option of intensive weekend practical training, with the possibility of using our boats for overnight stays and saving on accommodation. The practical training also includes a short-range radio course, which is conducted in a simulator.
