Nautical medical certificate: what it consists of and how to get it

The nautical medical certificate is a mandatory requirement for obtaining the PER (Recreational Skipper's License). It serves to certify that there are no limitations incompatible with operating recreational vessels, similar to the medical examination required for a driver's license.

To obtain it, you simply need to make an appointment at a Driver Assessment Center (CRC). There, they will perform simple tests (vision, hearing, and reflexes) and, if everything is correct, they will give you the certificate to present when processing your license.

In addition, you will have at your disposal tests similar to those of the official exam for you to practice, two nautical charts and an angle protractor to do the corresponding exercises.
You can start the course as soon as you register. From the first moment, you will have access to all the classes and materials necessary to begin your training.

5 Regulation errors.
2 Beacon errors.
