Mandatory internships to pass the PER in Mallorca
The practices to obtain the PER can be distinguished between mandatory and complementary. At Anclademia we offer you both types.

Mandatory Safety and Navigation Practices
- 16 hours long.
- In rigid inflatable boats or sailboats of 12 meters in length
- Navigation exercises are carried out in port and open sea.

Mandatory Short Range Radio Operator Practices
- 12 hours long, in sessions of 4 hours each.
- In a simulator owned by the school
- Theory of radio communications, use of equipment, procedure and regulations.

Nautical medical certificate: what it is and how to obtain it (Mallorca)
The nautical medical certificate is a mandatory requirement for obtaining the PER (Recreational Skipper's License). It serves to certify that there are no limitations incompatible with operating recreational vessels, similar to the medical examination required for a driver's license.
To obtain it, you simply need to make an appointment at a Driver Assessment Center (CRC) in Mallorca. There, you will undergo simple tests such as vision, hearing, and reflexes, and if everything is in order, you will be given the certificate you will need to present when applying for your driving license.

What will I receive when I enroll in the PER online course?
Once registered for the course you will receive the access codes to the virtual classroom where you will find the necessary notes and syllabus, tests like those of the official exam to practice, we will give you 2 nautical charts and the angle protractor so that you can perform the nautical chart exercises.
When can I start the course?
You can start the course once you have registered, from the first moment you will have access to all the classes as well as everything you need to get started.
How long will it take to get the PER online?
It directly depends on how many hours you can dedicate to studying the syllabus each day. The Generalitat calls the exam every month and one month is a reasonable period of time with appropriate dedication.
What is the exam like?
The exam to obtain the PER title is made up of 45 multiple choice questions, which must be solved in a maximum of 1 and a half hours. To pass, you must make no more than 13 errors, taking into account that a total of:
- 5 Regulation errors.
2 Beacon errors.
2 errors in navigation chart exercises.
