The nautical medical certificate is a mandatory requirement for obtaining the PER (Recreational Skipper's License). It serves to certify that there are no limitations incompatible with operating recreational vessels, similar to the medical examination required for a driver's license.

To obtain it, you simply need to make an appointment at a Driver Assessment Center (CRC) in Ibiza. There, you will undergo simple tests such as vision, hearing, and reflexes checks, and if everything is in order, you will be given the certificate you will need to present when applying for your driving license.
