The practices to obtain the PER can be distinguished between mandatory and complementary. At Anclademia we offer you both types.

Mandatory Safety and Navigation Practices
- 16 hours long.

Mandatory Short Range Radio Operator Practices
- 12 hours long, in sessions of 4 hours each.

Nautical medical certificate: what it is and how to obtain it (Ibiza)
The nautical medical certificate is a mandatory requirement for obtaining the PER (Recreational Skipper's License). It serves to certify that there are no limitations incompatible with operating recreational vessels, similar to the medical examination required for a driver's license.
To obtain it, you simply need to make an appointment at a Driver Assessment Center (CRC) in Ibiza. There, you will undergo simple tests such as vision, hearing, and reflexes checks, and if everything is in order, you will be given the certificate you will need to present when applying for your driving license.

Can I study the PER course online from Ibiza?
Can the internship be done in Ibiza or do I have to travel somewhere else?
Although the theoretical course can be done online from Ibiza, the navigation and safety practices take place in Barcelona. However, we offer flexibility in organizing the practices, and you can choose the weekend that best suits you. In addition, we provide boats so you can sleep on board and save on accommodation. If you prefer, you can also do the practices independently.
What requirements must I meet to obtain the PER title?
To obtain the license of Recreational Boat Skipper (PER), you must meet the following requirements: pass a 45-question theoretical exam, complete 12 hours of radio practice in a simulator, complete 16 hours of navigation practice in motor boats, and pass a medical examination similar to that for a driver's license. Once these requirements have been completed, you can obtain your license.
