To obtain the title of Yacht Skipper, it is necessary to meet the requirements in both the theoretical and practical parts, and our online modality allows you to complete the entire process in a flexible way and adapted to your needs.
- The theoretical part, which you can complete remotely, does not need to be passed before moving on to the practical part, which is mandatory and can be done later or simultaneously with the theoretical part, depending on your availability.

By registering, you will receive full access to the virtual classroom where you will find all the necessary material for your training: notes, syllabus, practical tests like those of the official exam, two nautical charts and an angle protractor for navigation exercises.
When can I start the Online Yachtmaster course and how long will it take to complete it?
You can start the course immediately after enrolling, as the content is completely online and accessible at any time. The time to complete the course depends on your availability, as you can study at your own pace. However, the course is designed to be completed in a few months if you study consistently.
Where do the practices for the Online Yacht Skipper course take place?
The Yacht Skipper course practices take place in the Port of Barcelona. We offer various timetable options so you can organise your sailing practices according to your schedule. You will also have an intensive weekend of practical experience, with the option of sleeping on our boats to save on accommodation.
What is the exam like?
The exam for Yacht Master in the Balearic Islands is made up of two modules: the generic module and the navigation module. The generic module, lasting 45 minutes, assesses knowledge of maritime safety and meteorology, while the navigation module, lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, covers theory and the use of nautical charts. To pass the exam, it is necessary to achieve a minimum number of correct answers in each area and in the total. In addition, the qualification by modules allows partial results to be kept for future calls. The test is called by the corresponding maritime authorities.
