We run the course every month, where you receive enough support in both theory and practice parts.

The practices are carried out on board of boats moored in the same port, for the convenience of the students.
It is not necessary to have passed the theoretical part in order to start the practical part, but you can combine the two so that you can obtain the qualification more quickly. In addition, you can do complementary training (16 hours of sailing) and/or cross to the Balearic Islands to extend the powers of your title: see other PER options in the list of courses.

Frequent questions - All you need to know about Recreation Boat Skipper
PER course has different modalities depending on whether you choose the classroom or online option, we also offer extensions and Sailing qualification with various OFFERS.
No, you must be of legal age in order to obtain the title of “Pleasure boat skipper”. You can start studying the theoretical part or do the practical part before your 18th birthday, keeping in mind that from the moment you pass the exam you have a maximum of 24 months to apply for the diploma.
When choosing which of the two certificates is best for you, you need to understand the differences between PER and GNP in terms of length limits and maximum distance from the coast.
It depends directly on your availability and involvement with the test: the advantage of the PER online course is that it allows you to adapt your studies to your own pace of life, with the constant support of one of the school's teachers for any questions you may have.
In order to pass the Recreational Craft Skipper exam you must internalize the official PER programme, organized in the chapters Naval Terminology, Manoeuvres, Safety at Sea, Navigation, Meteorology, Radiocommunications, Mechanical Propulsion and Legislation.
Although if you prepare for the exam on your own you can dedicate as much time as you want, with an approximate dedication of 7 to 8 hours a week it will take you about a month to study the whole program.
Yes, in fact our recommendation is to make the theoretical part compatible with the completion of the mandatory practices (and, where appropriate, the complementary ones) to obtain the title of Recreational Boat Skipper as soon as possible.
If you already have the title of Basic Navigation Skipper you have an important advantage when it comes to obtaining the PER, since half of the content will be validated. Consult the possibility of taking a bridging course to make it easier for you to achieve it.
Yes, the PER is valid for 10 years, except in the case of sailors over 70 years of age, who will have to renew it after 5 years.
